1. Narrated to Hazrat Ismail bin Abu Khalid:

Hazrat Abdullah bin Abu Aufa said, “Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) performed the Umra. He performed Tawaf of the Kaba and offered two Rakat behind the Maqam (Abraham’s place) and was accompanied by those screening him from the people.” Somebody asked Abdullah, “Did Allah’s Messenger Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) enter the Kaba?” `Abdullah replied in the negative.

2. Narrated to Hazrat Ayesha:

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to pray while I was sleeping across in his bed in front of him. Whenever he wanted to pray to Witr, he would wake me up, and I would pray Witr.

3. Narrated to Hazrat Ayesha:

The things which annul the prayers were mentioned before me. They said, “Prayer is annulled by a dog, a donkey, and a woman (if they pass in front of the praying people).” I said, “You have made us (women) dogs. I saw the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) praying while I used to lie in my bed between him and the Qibla. Whenever I was in need of something, I would slip away. For I disliked to face him.

4. Narrated to Shaqiq that:

He had heard Huzaifa saying, “Once I was sitting with Umar, and he said, ‘Who amongst you remembers the statement of Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) about the afflictions?’ I said, ‘I know it as the Prophet (PBUH) had said it.’ Umar said, ‘No doubt you are bold.’ I said, ‘The afflictions caused for a man by his wife, money, children, and neighbor are expiated by his prayers, fasting, charity, and enjoining (what is good) and forbidding (what is evil). Umar said, ‘I did not mean that, but I asked about that affliction which will spread like the sea waves. I (Hudhaifa) said, ‘O leader of the faithful believers! You need not be afraid of it as there is a closed door between you and it. Umar asked, Will the door be broken or opened? I replied, ‘It will be broken. Umar said, Then it will never be closed again. I was asked whether Umar knew that door. I replied that he knew it as one knows that there will be a night before tomorrow morning. I narrated a Hadith that was free from any misstatement” The sub-narrator added that they deputized Masruq to ask Huzaifa (about the door). Huzaifa said, “The door was Umar himself.

In this Surah, Allah explained the Denunciation of those who deny the Quran and oppress the orphan. Hypocrites rebuked for neglect of prayer and charity. This sura is about those who profess to be Muslims but do not care about the future. These people deprive beings of their rights, ignore the rights of the poor, and pray without remembering Allah, forgetting the purpose of prayer.
