Few Important Incidents in virtues of Sura Al-Kahf
We mention some famous incidents related to Sura Al-kahf
1. Narrated Hazrat Abu Huraira that:
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, “The poor person is not the one for whom a date or two or a morsel or two (of food is sufficient but the poor person is he who does not (beg or) ask the people (for something) ) or show his poverty at all. Recite if you wish (Allah’s Statement): “They do not beg of people. (Sahih al-Bukhari: 4539)
2. Al-Abbas narrated from Abu Sallam Al-Habashi, who said that:
Hazrat Umar bin Abdul-Aziz summoned me, so I got a ride on a mule.” [He said:] “When he entered him, he said: O Commander of the Believers! My riding mule was troublesome for me.’ So he said: ‘O Abu Sallam!I did not want to trouble you, but a Hadith which you narrated-from Thawban, from the Prophet (saw) about the Hawd-was conveyed to me, and I wanted you to narrate it directly to me.”‘ Abu Sallam said: “Thawban narrated to me from The Messenger of Allah (saw) who said ‘My Hawd (is as large as)’ from ‘Adan to ‘Amman of Al-Balqa,’ its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. Its cups are as numerous as the stars; whoever drinks one drink from it will never be thirsty after that again. The first people to arrive at it are the poor among the Muhajirin with disheveled heads, dirty clothes, those whom the women of favor would not marry, nor would the doors be open for them.’ ‘Umar said: ‘But I have married women of favor, and the doors are open for me. I married Fatimah bint’ Abdul-Malik. I shall certainly not wash my head until it is disheveled, nor wash my garment which touches my body until it becomes dirty.

3. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said:
Set the rows in order. Stand shoulder to shoulder. Close the gaps. Be pliant in the hands of your brethren. Do not leave openings for the devil. If anyone joins up a row, Allah will join him up, but Allah will cut him off if anyone breaks a row.
(Sunan Abi Dawud: 666)
4. Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said: Stand close together in your rows, bring them near one another, and stand neck to neck, for by Him in Whose hand my soul is, I see the devil coming in through openings in the row just like a small black sheep.
(Sunan Abi Dawud: 667)
