1. Narrated to Hazrat Abis bin Rabia that:

Hazrat Umar came near the Black Stone, kissed it, and said, “No doubt, I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit anyone nor harm anyone. Had I not seen Allah’s Messenger Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) kissing you, I would not have kissed you.”

(Sahih al-Bukhari: 1597)

2. Narrated to Hazrat Ibn e Abbas(RA):

Once The Holy Prophet (PBUH) ascended the pulpit, it was the last gathering in which he took part. He covered his shoulder with a big cloak and bound his head with an oily bandage. He glorified and praised Allah and said, “O people! Come to me.” So the people came and gathered around him, and he then said, “Amma Badu.” “From now onward, the Ansar will decrease, and other people will increase. So anybody who becomes a ruler of the followers of Muhammad and has the power to harm or benefit people should accept the good from the benevolent amongst them (Ansar) and overlook the faults of their wrong-doers.

3. Narrated to Hazrat Anas bin Malik(RA):

Allah’s Messenger Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad(PBUH) offered the Fajr prayer when it was still dark, then he rode and said, ‘Allah O Akbar! Khaibar is ruined. When we approach near to a nation, the most unfortunate is the morning of those who have been warned.” The people came out into the streets saying, “Muhammad and his army.” Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) vanquished them by force, and their warriors were killed; the children and women were taken as captives. Dihya Al-Kalbi took Safiya, and later she belonged to Allah’s Messenger go, who married her, and her Mahr was her manumission.

4. Narrated to HazratAbdullah (bin Masud):

The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Whoever takes a false oath to deprive somebody of his property will meet Allah while He will be angry with him.” Allah revealed: ‘Verily those who purchase a little gain at the cost of Allah’s covenant, and their oaths. Al-Asath came (to the place where Abdullah was narrating) and said, “What has Abu Abdur- Rahman (Abdullah) been telling you? This verse was revealed concerning me. I had a well in the land of a cousin of mine. The Prophet (PBUH) asked me to bring witnesses (to confirm my claim). I said I don’t have witnesses. He said, Let the defendant take an oath then. I said, O Allah’s Messenger (PBUH)! He will take a (false) oath immediately. Then the Prophet (PBUH) mentioned the above narration, and Allah revealed the verse to confirm what he had said.

Conclusion

Allah explained that Hazrat Muhammad declined to compromise with idolatry.Surah Al-Kafirun leads people to behave well and the right attitude of people who reject Islam. The verses tell Muslims to have firm faith in their religion and respond to anyone who does not believe in Allah. They suggest that negotiation in matters of faith and religion is not acceptable.
