1. Narrated to Hazrat Anas bin Malik:

The Prophet (PBUH) used to offer the Jumua prayer immediately after midday.

2. Narrated to Hazrat Sahal bin Sad:

There was a woman amongst us who had a farm, and she used to sow Silq (a kind of vegetable) on the edges of streams in her farm. On Fridays(Juma), she used to pull out the Silk from its roots and put the roots in a utensil. Then she would put a handful of powdered barley over it and cook it. The roots of the Silk were a meat substitute. After finishing the Jumua prayer, we greeted her, and she would give us that food which we would eat with our hands, and because of that meal, we used to look forward to Friday.

3. Narrated to Hazrat Abu Huraira that:

Allah’s Apostle Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said, Any person who takes a bath on Friday like the bath of Janaba and then goes for the prayer (in the first hour early), it is as if he had sacrificed a camel (in Allah’s cause); and whoever goes in the second hour it is as if he had sacrificed a cow; and whoever goes in the third hour, then it is as if he had sacrificed a horned ram; and if one goes in the fourth hour, then it is as if he had sacrificed a hen; and whoever goes in the fifth hour then it is as if he had offered an egg. When the Imam comes out (starts delivering the Khutba), the angels present themselves to listen to the Khutba.

4. Narrated to Hazrat Abu Huraira(RA):

The people said, O Allah’s Messenger (PBUH)! The rich people have the highest degrees of prestige and the permanent pleasures (in this life and the life to come in the Hereafter). He said, How is that?” They said, “The rich pray as we pray, strive in Allah’s Cause as we do, and spend from their surplus wealth in charity, while we have no wealth (to spend likewise). He said, Shall I not tell you a thing, by doing which, you will catch up with those who are ahead of you and supersede those who will come after you, and nobody will be able to do such a good deed as you do except the one who does the same (deed as you do). That deed is to recite Subhan Allah ten times, and Al-Hamduli Lilah ten times, and Allah u Akbar ten times after every prayer.

Conclusion

This chapter is called al-Jumu (Friday) because it is a day of the meeting where the community leaves business, transactions, and other distractions in favor of the assembly to find everything that is true and useful and looking only at “The grace of Allah.”The wise, powerful, and Holy Allah sent Muhammad as his apostle to the Arabs. The Jews punished their opposition to Islam. Notice the observance of Friday worships.
