Few Important Incident in virtues of Surah Al-Hajj

We mention some famous incidents related to Surah Al-Hajj

1. Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir narrated that:

“I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) ! Two prostrations have esteemed surah Al-Hajj?’ He said: ‘Yes, and whoever does not prostrate for them, he should not recite them.

(Tarimzi Sharif: 578)

2. Narrated to Hazrat Abu Saeed Al-Khudri:
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, “On the Day of Resurrection, Allah Almighty will say, ‘O Adam!’ Adam will reply, ‘Labbaik our Lord, and Sa’daik’ Then there will be a loud call (saying), Allah orders you to take a mission for the (Hell) Fire from among your offspring.’ Adam will say, ‘O Lord! Who is the mission for the (Hell) Fire?’ Allah will say, ‘Out of each thousand, take out 999.’ At that time, every pregnant female shall drop her load (have a miscarriage), and a child will have grey hair. And you shall see humanity as in a drunken state, yet not drunk. Still, severe will be the torment of Allah.” (22.2) (When the Prophet (PBUH) mentioned this), the people were so distressed (and afraid) that their faces got changed (in color) after that the Prophet (PBUH) said, “From Gog and Magog nine-hundred ninety-nine will be taken out and one from you. You Muslims (compared to many other people) will be like a black hair on the side of a white ox or a white hair on the side of a black ox, and I hope that you will be one-fourth of the people of Paradise.” On that, we said, “Allahu-Akbar!” Then he said, “I hope that you will be) one-third of the people of Paradise.” We again said, “Allah-u-Akbar!” Then he said, “(I hope that you will be) one-half of the people of Paradise.” So we said, Allahu Akbar.”

3. Narrated to Hazrat Abu Zar Ghafari that:

I asked The Holy Prophet (PBUH) about the Statement of Allah:– ‘And the sun runs on the fixed course for a term (decreed), (36.38) He said, “Its course is underneath “Allah’s Throne.” (Prostration of Sun trees, stars. mentioned in Quran and Hadith does not mean like our prostration, but it means that these objects are obedient to their Creator (Allah) and they obey for what they have been created for).

(Sahih al-Bukhari: 4803)

4. Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) said:

Indeed Hamim will be poured over their heads. The Hamim will penetrate until it finds its way to his insides. Then whatever is inside him will fall out until it pours over his feet while it melts away. Then he will be reformed to how he was.

(Jamia at-Trimzi: 2582)

5. Abu Huraira reported:

The Messenger of Allah Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came to the graveyard and said: “Peace be upon you! The abode of the believing people, and we, if God so wills, are about to join you. I love to see my brothers.” They (the hearers) said: Aren’t we your brothers, O Messenger of Allah? He said: You are my companions, and our brothers are those who have, so far, not come into the world. They said: Messenger of Allah, how would you recognize those persons of your Ummah who have not yet been born? He said: Supposing a man had horses with white blazes on foreheads and legs among all black horses, tell me, would he not recognize his horses? They said: Certainly, O Messenger of Allah. He said: They would come with white faces and arms and legs owing to ablution, and I would arrive at the Cistern before them. Some people would be driven away from my Cistern as the stray camel is driven away. I would call out: Come, come. Then it would be said (to me): These people changed themselves after you, and I would say: Be off, be off.

(Sahih Muslim: 249)

Conclusion

In this Surah, Allah describes The terrible character of the judgment day. In this Surah, True believers are encouraged to worship Allah and fight in defense of his religion. Muslims were encouraged to be steadfast in the faith of their father, Abraham.
