Hadith About Surah Al-Hadid:
We mention some famous incidents related to Surah Al Hadid.
1- Narrated to Hazrat Abu Saeed Al-Khudri(RA):
Allah’s Messenger Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) addressed the people saying, “Allah has given the option to a slave to choose this world or what is with Him. The slave has chosen what is with Allah.” Abu Bakar wept, and we were astonished at his weeping caused by what The Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) mentioned as to a Slave ( of Allah) who had been offered a choice, (we learned later on) that Allah’s Messenger Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) himself was the person who was given a choice, and that Abu Bakar knew best of all of us. Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) added, “The person who has favored me most with his company and wealth is Abu Bakr. If I were to take a Khalil other than my Lord, I would have taken Abu Bakr as such, but (what relates us) is the Islamic brotherhood and friendliness. All the gates of the Mosque should be closed except the gate of Hazrat Abu Bakr.
(Sahih Al-Bukhari 3654)
2-Hazrat Abu Burda reported on the authority of his father that:
We offered the sunset prayer and Allah’s Apostle Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). We then said: If we sit (along with Allah’s Messenger) and observe night prayer with him, it would be perfect, so we sat down, and he came to us and said: You are still sitting here. I said: Allah’s Messenger, we observed evening prayer with you, then we said: Let us sit down and observe night prayer along with you, after which he said: You have done well or you have done right. He then lifted his head towards the sky, and it often happened that as he lifted his head towards the sky, he said: The stars are a source of security for the sky, and when the stars disappear there comes to the sky, (it meets the same fate) as it has been promised (it would plunge into darkness). And I am a source of safety and security to my Companions. When I would go away, there would fall to the lot (of my Companions) as they have been promised with and my Companions are a source of security for the Umma and as they would go there would fall to the lot of my Umma as (its people) have been promised.
(Sahih Muslim: 2531)
3-Narrated to Hazrat Abu Huraira that:
A man came to the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and asked, “O Allah’s Messenger (PBUH)! Which charity is the most superior in reward?” He replied, “The charity you practice while you are healthy, niggardly and afraid of poverty and wish to become wealthy. Do not delay it to the time of approaching death and then say, ‘Give so much to such and such, and so much to such and such. And it has already belonged to such and such (as it is too late).
(Sahih Al-Bukhari: 1419)
4- Narrated to Hazrat Abdullah bin Masud (RA):
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, “Do not wish to be like anyone except in two cases. (The first is) A person, whom Allah has given wealth, and he spends it righteously; (the second is) the one whom Allah has given wisdom (the Holy Quran), and he acts according to it and teaches it to others.
