Few Important Incident in virtues of Surah Al-Bhruj

We mention some famous incidents related to Surah Al-Bhruj

1. Narrated to Hazrat Abu Saeed Al-Khudri:

Once The Holy Prophet (PBUH) sat on a pulpit, and we sat around him. Then he said, “The things I am afraid of most for your sake (concerning what will befall you after me) are the world’s pleasures and splendors and its beauties which will be disclosed to you.” Somebody said, “O Allah’s Messenger (PBUH)! Can the good bring forth evil?” The Prophet (PBUH) remained silent for a while. It was said to that person, “What is wrong with you? You are talking to the Prophet (PBUH) while he is not talking to you.” Then we noticed that he was being inspired divinely. Then the Prophet (PBUH) wiped off his sweat and said, “Where is the questioner?” It seemed as if the Prophet (PBUH) liked his question. Then he said, “Good never brings forth evil. Indeed, it is like what grows on the banks of a water-stream that either kill or make the animals sick, except if an animal eats its fill the Khadira (a kind of vegetable) and then faces the sun defecates and urinates and grazes again. No doubt, this wealth is sweet and green. Blessed is the wealth of a Muslim from which he gives to the poor, the orphans, and needy travelers. (Or the Prophet said something similar to it) Undoubtedly, whoever takes it illegally will be like the one who eats but is never satisfied, and his wealth will be a witness against him on the Day of Resurrection.

(Sahih al-Bukhari: 1465)

2. Hazrat Abu Saeed Al-Khudri narrated that the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) said:

“Indeed, among the greatest types of Jihad is a just statement before a tyrannical ruler.

(Jamia at-Tirmidhi: 2174)

3. It was narrated from Jabir bin Samurah that:

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to recite By the heaven holding the big stars and: By the heaven, and At-Tariq (the night-comer, the bright star) and similar surahs in Zuhr and Asar.

(Sunan An Nasai: 980)

4. It was narrated that Abdullah bin Masud said that:

The first people to declare their Islam publicly were seven: The Messenger of Allah, Hazrat Abu Bakr, Hazrat Ammar and his mother Sumayyah, Hazrat Suhaib, Hazrat Bilal and Hazrat Miqdad. About the Messenger of Allah, Allah protected him through his paternal uncle Hazrat Abu Talib. About Hazrat Abu Bakr, Allah saved him through his people. As for the rest, the idolators seized them and made them wear coats of chain-mail and exposed them to the sun’s intense heat. None of them did not do what they wanted them to do, except for Bilal. He did not care what happened to him for the sake of Allah, and his people did not care what happened to him. Then they gave him to the children who took him around in the streets of Makkah while he was saying, Ahad, Ahad (One, One).

(Sunan Ibn Majah: 150)

Conclusion

Cursed be the persecutor of the believers burned at the fire. Believers are persecuted for their faith in Allah. For unbelievers, it is a fire, but for believers, it is paradise. Allah is the Creator and Sovereign Ruler of the universe. Pharaoh and the Nation of Thamood are examples of warnings to those who reject the Holy Qur’an. The famous Quran is kept in the Preserved Tablet.
