We mention some famous incidents related to Surah Al-Beyinnah

1. Narrated to Hazrat Ibn e Abbas:

(as regards the Verse of Quran): You shall indeed travel from stage to stage (in this life and the Hereafter). (It means) from one state to another. That concerns your Prophet(PBUH).

(Sahih al-Bukhari: 4940)

2. Narrated to Hazrat Abu Wail:

Hazrat Abdullah bin Masud said, “Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) said, ‘Whoever takes an oath when asked to do so, in which he may deprive a Muslim of his property unlawfully, will meet Allah Who will be angry with him. So Allah revealed in confirmation of this statement: Verily! Those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah’s Covenant and oaths shall have no portion in the Hereafter. Then entered Al-Ashath bin Qais and said, “What is Abu Abdur-Rahman narrating to you?” We replied, ‘So-and-so.” Al-Ashath said, “This Verse was revealed in my connection. I had a well in my cousin’s land (and he denied my possessing it). On that, the Prophet (PBUH) said to me, Either you bring forward proof, or he (your cousin) takes an oath (to confirm his claim)’ I said, ‘I am sure he would take a (false) oath, O Allah’s Messenger (PBUH). He said, ‘If somebody takes an oath when asked to do so through which he may deprive a Muslim of his property (unlawfully), and he is a liar in his oath, he will meet Allah Who will be angry with him.

3. Narrated to Kharija bin Zaid bin Sabit:

Ume Al-Ala, an Ansari woman who gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (PBUH), said to me, “The emigrants were distributed amongst us by drawing lots, and we got in our share Usman bin Mazen. We made him stay with us in our house. Then he suffered from a disease which proved fatal when he died and was given a bath and was shrouded in his clothes, Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) came I said, ‘May Allah be merciful to you, O Abu As-Saib! I testify that Allah has honored you. The Prophet (PBUH) said, How do you know that Allah has honored him? I replied, O Allah’s Messenger (PBUH)! Let my father be sacrificed for you! On whom else shall Allah bestow His honor? The Prophet (PBUH) said, ‘No doubt, death came to him. By Allah, I too wish him good, but by Allah, I do not know what Allah will do with me though I am Allah’s Messenger (PBUH). By Allah, I never attested the piety of anyone after that.
